Personality

Danryne is a kind druid at heart, and is willing to help enyone in need. Being a druid, she also has an intimate connection with nature and the Emerald Dream, and uses that connection to help and protect azeroth and it's inhabitants. She does have an aversion to unnatrual magic, and those who wield it. But, if you have good intentions and a good heart, she can warm up to you.The druid specializes in Herbalism, and utilizes this knowledge in her travels and in combat. She may be useful in providing medicine or ingredients.The tenacity of her people is shown in the heat of battle, where she can be fierce and unforgiving, sometimes brutal. She doesn't mess around when her home and people are in danger, and sometimes she can be too untrusting or ready to fight. Though it's been a few years since she's seen combat, she still yearns to see the battlefield again, and that spirit can still be seen within her...She owns a shop which doubles as her home. The Dreamer's Botanica and Emporium, open in times of peace. She's not only a botanica, but she also sells food, drinks and goods for anyone who visits.

Physical Description

[Cat Form]: Danryne’s cat form is made of pure nature. Instead of fur, bark covers her visage. Lush, green leaves drape her head and neck in a thick mane. In this form, her most feral personality comes out. Her attacks are stronger and more deadly, allowing her to quickly dispatch her enemies. This form also allows her to blend in with her natural surroundings.[Kaldorei Form]: Danryne is a Kaldorei of average height. Her skin is fair, and scars can be visible in various places. She bears natural green tribal tattoos on her face and arms. She may look quite toned, wild, and rugged, but Danryne still bears the elegance and beauty of a night elf nonetheless. Where this form really shines is in combat. Possessing skill in close combat, she typically uses two daggers to finish her foes. Displaying an incredible amount of dexterity and acrobatics, she’s not only deadly, but swift with her kills.[Notable Features]:
-Burn scar on the left side of her face.
-Her eyes are solid grey, indicating her blindness.

History

Danryne was born in the forests of Ashenvale, thousands of years ago, where she had felt her calling in her early life. Born of two loving parents, they supported and helped her growth into becoming an acolyte of nature. She was a skilled fighter at first, until after the War of Ancients. For many years she would train in the ways of druidism, thanks to her father, whom had become a druid himself. While not many women were added to the ranks of druidism, it was a lot easier for her to to be accepted thanks to her father. Strengthening her connection to her forest and azeroth itself, she continued training vigorously. She became a talented healer, and an even better fighter, eventually becoming a Druid of the Claw. Anytime Azeroth or the Emerald Dream was in danger, she would be one of the first to assist.War of the AncientsDanryne and her family were very reclusive before the war. While they did know what was going on in the Kaldorei capital, they were slightly concerned, but didn't act at first. They were never really for or against Queen Azshara's rule, but over time, when her imperialism was at it's worst, they decided it was time to join the rebellion and fight back against their Queen, and the ever coming Legion. She fought hard during the battle, and celebrated victory with the remaining survivors.War of the SatyrBetween the time when Nordrassil was blessed and the War of the Satyr, Danryne was in a deep sleep alongside Malfurion and the others, only to be awoken during the War of the Satyr. This was an interesting time as some of the other druids had come up with the Pack form to fight against the Satyrs. While this did work, these now-Worgen were banished to sleep in the Emerald Dream forevermore. It was during this time that Danryne had assisted in the fight as well as helping put the druids of the Pack to sleep.Burning CrusadeWhen the Draenei crash landed on Azuremyst Isle, Danryne traveled to aid them in what ways she could. She assisted in preserving and protecting the nature around the crash site, and in doing so, created a friendship with the Draenei. She still often visits the Isle to maintain the balance. This would not be the only bond she'd form with another race. After the Shattering, Danryne assisted the other Kaldorei with the Gilnean affliction, traveling far to the gloomy city felled by so much tragedy. She empathized with the people and grew quite fond of them, eventually moving to Darnassus to continue her aid and training. Over time, Danryne and the Gilneans developed a tight bond and she remains a strong ally to both races to this dayCataclysmAfter the Shattering, Danryne assisted the other Kaldorei with the Gilnean affliction, traveling far to the gloomy city felled by so much tragedy. She empathized with the people and grew quite fond of them, eventually moving to Darnassus to continue her aid and training. Over time, Danryne and the Gilneans developed a tight bond and she remains a strong ally to them to this day.War of ThornsThe events of Teldrassil has left Danryne forever scarred. Not only was she severely burned, but she had also completely lost her eyesight. Her long recovery resulted in her learning how to use the Emerald Dream and nature magic to see the world around her as best as she could. This still rendered her unable to fight, so she settled down for a while, meeting new friends and opening up a small shop for herself. One of these friends gifted her a magical pair of glasses, which allowed her to see the world around her clearly. This finally gave her some newfound purpose, and she intends to help protect Azeroth once again

Moonwing is a Faeirie Dragon that guides Danryne through places with more stone than nature. They met shortly after Danryne lost her sight. Whilst recovering in the Emerald Dream, the Kaldorei found the little dragon injured and unable to move. With her healing magic, Danryne was able to nurse Moonwing back to health, taking her in and allowing her to recover. During this time, the two developed a special bond, and have remained inseparable ever since.Moonwing is friendly and playful, and at times a little bit mischievous. Being one of the many that can speak, she’s a very talkative little dragon. She loves to talk to Danryne on their travels alone, and only on occasion will it annoy her Kaldorei companion. Arts and crafts are also one of this dragon’s favorite things to do, often making creative and fun gifts for Danryne. You’ll often see Danryne wearing or carrying these gifts on her travels. But, where Moonwing really shines is her talents and aid with Danryne. Possessing her own spells and abilities(Seen Below), Moonwing often assists Danryne in her training.

Spells & Abilities

[Dream Shift]: Moonwing can shift into the Emerald Dream to stay out of sight from enemies.[Moonfire]: Moonwing summons a beam of light that damages all within.[Dragon Sight]: Moonwing grants Danryne full sight for a time. (About thirty minutes, of four turns.)
